Though primarily vehicle-friendly, the neighborhood provides several bus lines with stops located nearby. There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Las Colinas, as well as some areas with a vibrant atmosphere. There are over 50 parks close by for residents to relax in, including Parkside Commons and The Elis Walker Outdoor Learning Center, and they are very well-spread out, making it easy to get to them. This part of Irving is relatively quiet, due to the presence of few people out and about on the streets, although those who are near Lyndon Baines Johnson Freeway, W John Carpenter Freeway or the railway line may experience higher levels of noise.
